The end of an era.

     

All the fields are empty apart from the grey mare in field three, the end of seven years of feeding. Not sure why, has the tenant fallen out with the owner of the fields or are they scaling back?

Here is the only one left, the grey mare owned by another owner, we attend her every night:

Doesn’t like being touched, certainly an individual in her own right. The field has interesting features and a very old quite shallow quarry, interesting terrain for her.
